About Freshwater Futures
Founder & AI Advisor
Ben Hogan
Ben is the founder of Freshwater Futures, an AI product studio in Melbourne. We work with enterprises from their first look at AI through to agents running in production, and we do the behavioural work and the engineering together, because the engineering only pays off when the behaviour changes too.
He's spent his career in software, through XP, DevOps, and now Generative AI. Today he works with ASX Top 20 clients on AI strategy and delivery, from a first Vibe-a-thon to agents live in production.
He's been a consultant, trainer, advisor, engineer, and senior leader at REA, SEEK, Domain, Bunnings, ThoughtWorks, and MYOB, and globally with Scout Group (Berlin) and TMX Group (London).
Director of Product & Marketing
Zoe Hogan-West
Zoe sets the direction for what Freshwater Futures builds and how we talk about it. She designs the products and leads the marketing, and she still writes code, so what we promise stays grounded in what we can build.
She comes at product from design. That means starting with research with the people who will actually use the thing, then designing and building it, then coaching the teams who pick it up. It's the reason a workshop insight can become something a team uses the following Monday.
